As the composting season gets into full swing, East Riding of Yorkshire Council is offering ways of helping residents deal with garden waste.
This includes a prize draw for one resident to have the council build a home composter in their garden. In return, the winner will give feedback and tips on how they managed the compost.
There are also home composters to give away to two further residents.
If you would like to enter this prize draw, please email stephen.race@eastriding.gov.uk with your name, full address including postcode, and telephone number. Alternatively, you can enter the prize draw by filling in and posting the coupon in the September issue of East Riding News.
The closing date for the draw is Friday, 24 September 2010.
