The first judge for the council's pre-worn clothing awards for students is Rachel Roberts, a designer who specialises in knitwear using shoddy, which is recycled wool.
Rachel will be one of three judges of the outfits designed by students at East Riding College and Bishop Burton College, using discarded clothing and textiles, such as from charity shops.
Rachel, of Borne Again, has designed a scarf especially for East Riding residents. The wool can be purchased from Borne Again by calling 07545 481015.
