East Riding bring sites

There are over 145 bring sites located around the East Riding. These are recycling sites smaller than the household waste recycling sites but where you can recycle a more limited range of materials, typically glass, paper and textiles.

Find your local recycling facilities using the Recycle Finder.

Alternatively, view a list of what can be taken to each bring site.

Bring sites have the advantage of being more numerous and generally closer to hand. Some bring sites also have banks for cans, plastic bottles, books and shoes.

The council is particularly keen to increase the number of glass recycling banks across the area. If you think you may have a suitable location to site a glass bank then call the council and let us know on 01482 395586.

We are also constantly researching ways to provide banks for other recyclable materials such as drinks cartons and cardboard boxes.

In 2005/6 we collected, with the help of residents, over 5000 tonnes of recyclable materials across our bring sites.
